What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. Our storage facility offers clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

What are your clear and transparent discount rate plans?

Are you tired of being misled by big self-storage corporations, which advertise low prices that skyrocket after you commit and move into one of their units? CSI Mini Storage is committed to providing honest and transparent pricing tailored to the actual time you require your storage.

Our pricing is based on two move in discount rate plans that guarantee your rate for either 3 or 6 months on most storage unit sizes. Before you move in, you'll know what you'll pay based on your selected term. The shorter the term, the less you will pay.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! We offer a $50.00 rent credit to current tenants who refer a new tenant to us. The reward will be credited to our tenant's account.

How does your free pick up and move in service work?

We provide our new tenants with a free move in truck and two strong men who will load your belongings at your location and unload them into your storage unit for free! Please contact our rental office for more details.

How should I choose which storage unit to rent?

Use our online size guide to determine the best sized storage unit to meet your personal needs. Please contact one of our staff members in our rental office if you would like further advice.

Can I reserve my storage unit online?

Yes! You can reserve a storage unit online any time of day and any day of the week.

Can I pay my storage rent online?

Of course. Many of our customers find it is the easiest and most convenient way to do so. Just access our website from your computer or cell phone to pay the rent for your storage unit when it's convenient for you.

How can I set up an automatic payment option?

You can either set up the automatic payment option by accessing your online account or by stopping by our rental office. For your security, automatic payments cannot be set up or cancelled over the telephone.

Can I buy packing supplies and moving boxes?

We offer packing supplies which include moving boxes, tape, mattress and chair covers, plastic bags and tarps, as well as moisture absorber packages. Just stop by our rental office during business hours. We also sell locks for your storage unit.

Is there a minimum rental term or can I rent a storage unit on a month-to-month basis?

Our rentals are on a month-to-month basis. Our minimum rental term is one month.

Do you require me to buy storage insurance?

We do not require you to buy storage insurance, but we offer it as an option for you. You also may want to see whether your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy will cover your stored items.

Do you charge any administrative fees or security deposits to rent a storage unit?

Unlike many other self-storage companies, we never charge an administrative fee or a security deposit when you rent a storage unit from us.

What items are not allowed to be stored in a storage space?

For the safety of our tenants, we do not permit storage of any illegal, hazardous, toxic, flammable or explosive items. We also do not allow the storage of food or other perishable goods, as these items attract rodents and other pests. In addition, we do not permit storage of tires or any other automotive parts.

Do you provide security at your storage facility?

We have electrically controlled gates where our tenants must enter their assigned access code to enter the facility. We have surveillance cameras and our facility is well lighted at night. We also have a security person patrolling the facility during the day and at night.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our storage rentals are on a month-to-month basis, and we only require seven day's advance written notice of your decision to cancel your storage unit rental.

How do I update my credit card, email address, mailing address or gate access code?

You can update your information by accessing your online account or by stopping by our rental office. However, for your security, your credit card information cannot be updated over the telephone.

Is your facility closed on major holidays?

Our rental office and yard are closed on New Year's Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, Easter Sunday, Labor Day and Memorial Day.

Can I drive up to my storage unit?

Our storage facility is unique in that you can drive up to all our storage units. No need to hassle with stairs or elevators!

Can I store a car or motorcycle in my storage unit?

Storage of cars or motorcycles is strictly prohibited.
